Six-Month International Arbitration Internship: July-December 2019

14/05/2019 by International Arbitration

Aceris Law LLC, a boutique law firm providing counsel for investment, commercial and construction arbitrations, is currently seeking an intern for a six-month internship beginning in July 2019 and ending in December 2019.

six-month-international-arbitration-internship-july-december-2019/Interns can be based in any city or country – we provide the technology that is necessary to work with our team, regardless of the trainee’s location, as well as access to offices in 120 jurisdictions. Students from outside of France, England and Switzerland are therefore encouraged to apply.

We are looking for law students with an excellent level of English, a strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in international arbitration. As our current caseload includes disputes with French, Russian, Portuguese and Arabic elements, students with knowledge of one or more of these languages is a plus.

Trainees will gain experience working for clients in different jurisdictions, assisting with legal research, drafting riders, assisting with hearings and filings, and often working directly with clients and potential clients. They may also travel to various countries, depending on our clients’ needs. Past trainees have either been hired by Aceris Law LLC or gone on to be hired by other prestigious firms working in the field of international arbitration.

Trainees get to work in a friendly, cooperative atmosphere, with colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds. They are paid stipends that are competitive for Western Europe, with the possibility of obtaining bonuses. All trainees earn the same amount, regardless of the continent where they are based.

If you would be interested in applying, please send a cover letter together with your curriculum vitae to:mbaakil@acerislaw.com
