More Barotse Nationals Sign Submission Agreement Calling For PCA Arbitration

14/04/2014 by International Arbitration

The Barotseland National Freedom Alliance has recently launched an online system to electronically sign a PCA Arbitration Agreement, which would allow for Barotseland’s legal status to be determined peacefully and in accordance with international law.

In addition, a more traditional signature process for the PCA arbitration agreement continues, with hundreds of more Barotse nationals signing it.  The newest signatures have been posted on the BNFA’s website, and they are also available online below.

President Sata’s refusal to sign the submission agreement to date can only be viewed as an admission that Zambia’s actions with respect to the former British protectorate of Barotseland, including the flagrant violation of the Barotseland Agreement 1964, were in violation of international law.

Ms. Sylvana Sinha, a member of the International Arbitration Attorney Network, and also Mr. William Kirtley and Mr. Christophe Dugué of the Paris-based arbitration boutique Dugué & Kirtley AARPI, are serving as the BNFA’s legal counsel.
