Aceris Law Again Ranked in Legal 500 for International Arbitration

18/04/2020 by International Arbitration

Aceris Law has again been ranked in the Legal 500 in the field of international arbitration, along with a number of other well-known international firms.

Legal 500 Arbitration

“It is always a pleasure to see our hard work recognized,” said William Kirtley of Aceris Law. “We have won or settled over a dozen disputes over the past two years alone, bringing significant value to our clients. We currently are counsel in a number of quite large disputes, although we also serve as counsel for clients in the Middle East, the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia in smaller commercial, construction and investment arbitrations. Although I was told when working at a large international firm that clients assume that lawyers are good only if they charge exorbitant legal fees, I think that clients are becoming more sophisticated about the way that they select legal counsel, as more information is available today than was the case two decades ago. The main differences between Aceris Law and our similarly-ranked competitors are: (1) we always try to give excellent value to our clients and to charge reasonable legal fees, never attempting to maximize our own profit, (2) we are generally more comfortable with the use of modern technology than our peers and more accessible, (3) we serve clients in all markets and actually go to our clients (when the borders are not closed) maintaining permanent access to offices throughout the world and (4) we only hire the best and brightest lawyers who actually care about whether our clients win or lose their cases. We have not lost a single case with the current team that is in place, which took time to build but now has significant rigor and depth.”
